There is some controversy surrounding the claims of Koenigsegg about their Agera R car model as being the world’s fastest car. Some website write that there is no proof but this Swedish car manufacturer says the car can reach 300 km/h withing 15 seconds. Some people are waiting for the official certification before accepting the Agera R as the fastest car in the world. The fast is that this Swedish car has carbon fiber wheels and improved aerodynamics. The design looks great and might feel the an airplane cockpit. The Agera R is has a 5.0 liter engine with 8 cylenders and twin turbo. This is a production car that is street legal.

Bugatti used to have the world's fastest car model but have again topped themselves with yet another fast car model. They also have the official evidence to back up their claim that the Veyron can reach a speed of 431 km/h. A little search shows that it is actually 408 km/h in the hands of racing driver Anthony Liu. Being the Bugatti Veyron the world’s fastest car has made top headlines world wide. Looking at the design and shape, I find it is a bit bulky and somewhat feminine. Do you want to know how much horsepower this car has? 1200 horses with a torque of 1500 Newton meters. This car too is streel legal and was produced since 2010.
